Sometimes it feels like time just moves faster these days. I always heard that after you have children the concept of time takes on a new meaning entirely. It is the truth. And just wait until school starts...I think the past two months have been the fastest (and blurriest...is that a word???) I can remember. It feel likes only yesterday we were saying goodbye to August, and now here we are, welcoming the start of the holiday season. It's almost surreal to me.
From beginning to end, October was packed...but in a good way! From apple picking to celebrating friendships and happily ever afters, there was a lot to document. Below, a look at my favorite moments from the month...
A beautiful bride was married under a beautiful tree in a Kiley Durham wedding dress and bracelet. (It was an honor above honors to be included!)

Fortunately, my family and my little boy are as silly as me. (I've already framed the top one. Makes me so happy to see my family laughing and playing along with me!)
I got to spend a little time with my sisters remembering my dear Grandma's legacy and looking thru her precious cookbooks. It was like stepping back in time. I can still hear the sounds of her kitchen when I look at this photo.
I miss her so much...
I spent a day with beautiful sparkly things at Lovely in TriBeCa...
And then we went apple picking!
With thirty five toddlers on a school bus...
It was, uh, memorable? Memorable indeed...(lots of highs and lows!)
My girlfriends and I celebrated more than eleven years of friendship in New York City with sushi, an embarassing number of photos and some new friendship bracelets at Cherry in Chelsea. It is so special to have friends that feel like family when your family is so far away.
(This was also my first girl's night out in since my son was born three years ago! Yay for me!!!)
We finally said goodbye to an empty apartment...

And it was a Spooktacular Halloween!!!
David John's class made their own costumes from hoodies for their neighborhood parade around TriBeCa. They were "wild things" from Where the Wild Things Are. It's hard to be a hot mess and a hoot at the same time, but they managed to pull it off with grandiose!
And then I got scared by a spider in boxers and bare feet in my bed!
He actually asked me to go sit on a tuffet so that he could "frighten me away"...
Sorry, bud, fresh out of tuffets :)
